Greeting Cards by design is a small home based business in Surrey, who produce beautiful handmade cards for people who are looking to buy something a little different from the mass produced "handmade" cards on the High Street.
Handmade is a term used throughout the greetings card industry, meaning different things to different people. Here at Greeting Cards by designs, handmade means exactly that; all our cards are made by hand. No mechanical processes, no volume sales, just beautiful individual designs that convey that personal message giving you something truly unique to impress and delight the special people in your life!
We produce styles, ranges and types for every occasion, finished and presented to the highest standard. Each card is made with a blank insert for your own message, which we can print for you at no extra cost. The finished card and envelope are packaged in a clear cellophane bag to protect it until you are ready to send it to that special person.
Each design is individually created using a variety of complementary materials, colours, shapes and textures to produce beautiful and stylish cards.
Our cards are created using materials such as vellum, an eclectic mix of specialised papers, patterned fabrics, colourful ribbons and trimmings, ceramic, shell and other buttons, pressed flowers, beads, exclusive photographs and other accessories all coordinated to produce creative and inspiring designs. They are all designed with originality, creativity and a flair for 'something different'.
The raw material is high quality cardstock which can be plain, hammered, linen, pearlised or fine embossed ridged, in a variety of colours, soft pastels not just white and cream.
We avoid using foil stickers (peel-offs) for writing and we print all the fronts of the cards ourselves, we have a wide variety of fonts to choose from. This gives you the flexibility to have whatever you want on the front of the card, we can add names or dates with no problem and the cards in our opinion look so much classier!
Our standard card size range is: 10x8 (C5), 8x4 (DL), 6x4 (C6) and 5"x5" (large square).
